Super zimní botky

Przymierzałam się do nich przez kilka miesięcy. Są to moje pierwsze buty barefoot. Zwykle noszę 39 i takie zamówiłam, okazały się za małe, ale wizualnie bardzo mi się podobały. Z perspektywy nie-właściciela butów (czyli nie patrząc z góry na buty) nie widać, że to barefoot, nie są takie "rozklapciałe". Obcas traperkowy daje złudzenie optyczne typowego traperka zimowego, tak naprawdę stopa leży niżej. Są wystarczająco szerokie z przodu, bardzo lekkie i estetycznie wykonane. Naprawdę wygodne, w końcu po całym dniu biegania po szkole jako nauczyciel nie bolą mnie palce ani halluksy, a także nie ciążą mi stopy. Samą wygodę myślę, że będę w stanie ocenić dokładniej po kilku miesiącach użytkowania. Pasują do wszystkiego, a mają też lekki "pazurek". Jedyny minus - nie są to buty do zasuwania po błocie (bo jasne) ani po lodzie (bo podeszwa jest niezbyt przyczepna). Może być w nich też za ciepło w biurze, ale dla mnie jest OK:)

Good water resistance, easy to clean, leather, cover the ankle. Look nice. In general, it's a decent product.

Unfortunately, they are felt like any other boots - uncomfortable. I tried this and that but failed to make them feel good. I don't know why, but my feet hurt when I wear them.

The first and the main issue is that they have a narrowing toebox. The big toe side is oriented to the center pushing the toe inwards. Yes, they are wider than average, but still narrowing. It was clear from the photos, but I had a hope that because of the wider pinky toe area, they'd fit ok. It didn't happen. Very often I feel pain in my big toes because they are curved by the boot and bend at the wrong angles.

On the other hand, they are too bulky in the middle and back of the foot. I just can't fit them tightly, my foot ankle and foot always move inside the boot (or the boot moves around the foot). Maybe, because they don't take into account foot arc and are too wide in that area. This makes the bad toebox shape even worse because on every step the middle of the foot has enough space to move but the toes do not. I changed the insoles to those with arc support and they slightly reduce this excessive volume, but it's still too big.

Bad thermal balance. They are well insulated from above but not from below. When the temperature is about freezing (or slightly below), and I'm walking, it's ok, but when I stand for 10 minutes I feel cold from the thin sole. At the same time, because of the membrane, they are too hot for indoor usage and are felt pretty uncomfortably after an hour in a mall.

Metal rivets for laces around the ankles. They are not covered from the inside and push into my ankle bones. In my other boots, they are covered with soft tissue or padding.

I'm new to this brand and barefoot in general and maybe something very important is missed. So, I gave an extra 4th star as credit and maybe will try summer shoes with a real wide toebox which follows foot shape.
